“The Importance of Visibility in the LGBTQIA+ Art Community"

Artist James Tailor @jamestailor.art hosts a panel talk, with Lewis G Burton @lewisgburton and Grace Phyliss Silver-Smith @pitp.ony to explore the critical themes of class, mental health, addiction, and the importance of visibility within the LGBTQIA+ and art community. Each artist will share their journey, creative practice, and the intersectionality of their experiences, emphasising how these factors influence their artistry and activism.

Taking place at CAMP, Northdown Road, 14th August, 7.30pm - 9pm.

This panel accompanies James Tailor's touring solo art exhibition RUNT at Kavel Rafferty Projects - Post Office Gallery, part of Margate Pride Festival Pride Art Map. Previous locations have been London (Second Act Gallery) and Manchester (Paradise Works).
